The McLaren F1 is more than just a fast car. This is a car that has made its stable mark in automotive history. Blessed with some of the most impeccable engineering in its time, it is a watershed moment for the automotive industry.
History
It all started when a car designer by the name of Gordon Murray, the same guy who designed Formula 1 cars for both Brabham and McLaren. Its blueprint was quite simple: it is light, it is streamlined, and it incorporates a host of proprietary technologies that most supercar manufacturers took literally decades to match.

Ferrari Enzo



Ferrari cars have always been one of the most coveted cars by many enthusiasts. When the company decided to develop the Enzo, there was a rave about what it will be like and how much it can offer to customers. The Ferrari Enzo, a 650 horsepower super car named after its founder, was developed in 2002 using Formula One technology. With the car already using carbon fiber for its body and an electro-hydraulic F1 transmission, more innovations were even made that were not present in the F1 such as aerodynamics and active traction control.

2011 Mercedes E-Class Cabrio


The Mercedes E-Class family is now complete, after a complete restyling for 2010 the last member of the extended lineup has just come to market with the convertible version. The E-Class Convertible’s official debut will come in January 2010 at the Detroit Auto Show, and sales will begin in May 2010. The E-Class Cabrio will be offered with a choice of two engines, a 3.5 Liter V6 that makes 268 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque in the E350 and a 5.5 Liter V8 pumping out 382 HP and 391 lb-ft of torque in the E550.

2012 McLaren MP4-12C


Luxury tuner Wheelandmore knows a thing or two about giving super cars some added juice, and their new program for the McLaren MP4-12C, dubbed "Toxique Evil", gives us even more indication as to how these guys have carved a reputation as one of the industry’s best tuning companies.
The first order of business for the MP4-12C was to lower the suspension system to which Wheelsandmore accomplished that by dropping the supercar’s PCC complex electronic hydraulic suspension system by another 25mm, resulting in improved steering and overall handling of the mighty McLaren.

2011 Honda EV-STER Concept


Ever since the Honda S2000 was dropped in 2009, rumors surrounding a hybrid successor for the roadster have been buzzing. Turns out, those rumors may be true now that Honda has announced the EV-STER Concept at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show. Could this be the beginning of the next small roadster? So far, signs point to yes. The Concept is being described as "a next-generation compact EV sports model, fun to drive while achieving excellent environmental performance." It is an all-electric vehicle that combines the pleasure of driving with zero CO2 emissions.
